To choose the right skincare products, start by identifying your skin type (oily, dry, sensitive, etc.) and your main concerns (acne, aging, pigmentation). Look for products with ingredients that target your needs, such as hyaluronic acid for hydration, retinol for aging, or salicylic acid for acne. Keep your routine simple: cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen. Be consistent and patch test new products to avoid irritation. If unsure, consult a dermatologist for personalized advice. Listen the great interview with Dr. Sharada Tripathi.

When I first arrived in the USA, everything felt unfamiliar. The language barrier was one of the hardest parts, and I often found myself frustrated when trying to communicate or understand others. Finding a job wasn’t easy either—my qualifications weren’t always recognized, and I had to start from scratch, often working in jobs that didn’t match my skills or experience. The cost of living was much higher than I expected. From housing to daily expenses, everything seemed expensive. I also faced challenges navigating the complex American system—getting the right paperwork, understanding healthcare, and figuring out taxes were overwhelming. At times, I felt isolated and homesick, missing my family, culture, and familiar surroundings. It was hard to fit in, and I often found myself torn between holding onto my Nepali roots and trying to adapt to a new life in America. But through it all, I’ve learned to cope, and now I want to help others who are going through the same struggles. Sharing my experiences, offering support, and helping fellow Nepali immigrants adjust and thrive has become my mission. Listen the real experience from Dr. Sharada Tripathi.
