Hormone Replacement Therapy

Happy Life

Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is a safe and effective way to help your body maintain balanced hormone levels. While it’s often associated with menopause and andropause, HRT can benefit people of all genders and ages. For women, it can ease symptoms like hot flashes, mood changes, and fatigue, while for men it can help with low energy, muscle loss, and changes in mood linked to lower testosterone. People of any age who experience hormonal imbalances—whether due to aging, medical conditions, or lifestyle factors—may also find HRT improves overall well-being, energy, and quality of life. It’s all about helping your body feel more like itself again!

What's the First Step:
Hormone Consultation

Hormone Consultation

A hormone consultation is a personalized appointment where a healthcare professional reviews your symptoms, lifestyle, and medical history to understand your hormone health. During the consultation, you may discuss energy levels, sleep, mood, and any changes you’ve noticed in your body. It will include lab tests to check hormone levels, helping your provider identify imbalances and develop a tailored plan. The goal is to give you clear guidance on whether hormone therapy or other strategies could improve your overall well-being, energy, and quality of life.

Women's HRT

For women, we offer several Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) options, including oral troches, topical creams, injections, and pellet therapy. Treatment may include estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone.

Not every patient requires all three hormones. Your treatment plan will be personalized based on your bloodwork, symptoms, and overall health to determine which hormones, and at what dosage, are appropriate for you. Hormone dosing differs significantly between men and women, and all therapies are carefully tailored to meet individual needs. Pricing may vary depending on the specific treatment plan and dosage recommended.

Men's
HRT

For men, we offer several Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) options, including topical creams, injections, and pellet therapy. Treatment typically focuses on optimizing testosterone levels to support overall health and well-being. Your treatment plan will be personalized based on your bloodwork, symptoms, and health goals to determine the most appropriate dosage and method of delivery.

In some cases, the body may produce or convert excess hormones. When needed, we can incorporate medications to help balance these levels and maintain optimal results as part of your treatment plan.

FAQ's:

FAQ'S:

How long does it take to see results? Many patients begin to notice improvements within a few weeks, but full results typically develop over several months as hormone levels stabilize.

Is HRT Safe? When prescribed and monitored by a qualified provider, HRT is generally safe for appropriate candidates. Ongoing lab work and follow-ups are essential to maintaining safety and effectiveness.

How much does HRT cost? Pricing depends on the type of therapy and the dosage prescribed. Because every treatment plan is customized, costs can vary from patient to patient.

Are there any side effects? As with any medical treatment, side effects are possible. These may include mild changes such as fluid retention, acne, or mood shifts. Regular monitoring helps minimize risks and ensures your therapy stays balanced.

How often will I need lab work and follow ups? Most patients complete bloodwork periodically. First before any HRT treatment is administered. Then 6 weeks following commencement of treatment to monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed. Afterwards, we will do lab work as needed and we will book you for monthly follow up visits with the provider.

At what age should I start HRT? There is no single “right” age to start Hormone Replacement Therapy. The need for HRT is based on your individual hormone levels, symptoms, and overall health—not just your age. While many people consider HRT in adulthood as hormone levels naturally decline, younger individuals—including teenagers—may also benefit from treatment if they have a diagnosed hormone deficiency or are producing excess levels of certain hormones. The best way to determine if HRT is appropriate is through comprehensive bloodwork and a consultation with a qualified provider. Your care plan will always be tailored to your unique body and circumstances.
